What we do
Our editors test apps and settings on real iPhone and Android devices before we write about them. We explain what a tool does, who it is for, what it costs and what its limits are, so you can decide for yourself.
Our editorial principles
- Independent. We are not paid by app developers to recommend their products. When that changes for any article, we will say so clearly at the top.
- Honest about limits. No app can "see who viewed your profile" or read someone else's messages without their knowledge. We don't pretend otherwise.
- Kept up to date. Apps change fast. We review our guides regularly and show the date of the last update.
How we are funded
PhoneSavvy is free to read. It is funded by advertising, which is served by Google and its partners. Advertising never influences what we write.
